Happy Birthday Maggie!!!

So I actually wrote this yesterday, but ran out of time in the day to post. I’ll be writing all about Maggie’s trip to Kentucky in the next few days, but wanted to go ahead and get this up for my little one :)

Happy Birthday Maggie!

One year ago today, you came into the world and changed our lives forever. You entered the world screaming like someone had ripped your arm off, and you kept screaming for the next 3 hours. You screamed so loud and so much that the women in the nursery (who see newborns all day, every day) were overheard commenting that “that Brunson baby….she’s a screamer!” You looked like a little sharpei, all wrinkly and scrunched up in the face. You were so tiny and thin, and you looked like you would break if a breeze went by. You were feisty, and had so much energy. You were everything I had ever dreamed of and more.

Now, you’re a year old. You’re not an infant anymore, and you’re quickly becoming a toddler. This has been the most wonderful year of my life, simple because you have been in it. You get me through the day, and make my life brighter every minute. You amaze me every day, and constantly surprise me with all of the wonderful, cute things that you do. You are the greatest gift I have have received, and the greatest work of art I could ever hope to create. I love you more than you will ever know.

Happy first birthday baby girl :)

I am catching up on all of the entries. As you know, my little Keith has had some rough times lately, but we are back and doing much better! I LOVE the pictures of Maggie! She is so adorable and sounds like she is really doing well. I am interested in hearing how your trip to Louisville went. We have been several times and will be going again in August.

I finally got a chance to put a link to Maggie’s blog on our site. Keep up the good work mom, sounds like she is doing great!
